What are the physical effects from lack of sleep?
by Author on Saturday, June 5th, 2010 | 5 Comments
Hi. At the moment for a couple of reasons, I dont go to sleep until 2 AM and I get up at 7 AM for work. I feel extremely run down and feel a throat infection coming on. Im 29. How many hours of sleep should I be getting? And how is this affecting my body as a whole? Is my immune system lowered due to lack of sleep? Thanks. X Sarah

nothing good about lack of sleep. it does affect the immune system. most people feel like they,re getting a cold. i worked nights for three years before i retired. i never got used to it. lots of water helps with the tired feeling. thank god for coffee!
Yes, lack of sleep will compromise your immune system for sure. Your body gets run down and cannot fight off the germs.
It can lead to depression and other mental issues also – hard to focus/concentrate which will affect your work.
The old saying of "8 hours per night" is a good one.
Hi
Sometimes we develop habitual patterns unconsciously and sleep patterns changes can be common . For lots of reasons – stress, diet, excercise or sometimes no specific trigger. Hypnotherapy can be very useful to many people to change the patterns back to where are right for us individually. Try a CD or DVD this way you can use them in your own time when ever you need to.
if you are having trouble sleeping at night, try to eliminate napping. If you must nap, do it in the early afternoon, and sleep no longer than about thirty minutes.
your body is starting to show you what can happen
and it WILL get worst if you do not sleep around 7-8 hours a day ( night)
and try the vitamin supplement MELATONIN
it works great take one mil around 9 PM and it will help you sleep all night
really
try it please
smile
good luck
