Ever wonder why you can’t sleep?

Why do you easily fall asleep but wake up again at 3am?Even if you are so tired you forget to turn off the TV, you still are up in the middle of the night. Why? What can you do to control the causes that determine whether it will be a peaceful nights’ sleep or a restless one?

Physical substances like caffeine in the late afternoon could be the cause of your insomnia, but it could be emotional as well. The good news is that even solutions less simple than cutting back on caffeine, such as resolving emotional issues that keep you from sleeping, have easy solutions as well.

Often, due to unresolved events occurring throughout the day you wake up stirred at night. While during the day you may have had great success of moving tasks around on your to-do list, or in your mind, while asleep, you subconsciously begin to problem solve and figure out where they should go.So the question becomes, how does one put one’s subconscious worries into the conscious mind before falling asleep?

As we believe we are masterful multi-taskers, the truth is that our brain is unable to manage all the information we attempt to store and in the absence of a managing system, our brain continuously sorts through the information, by constantly recalling it.While the brain is doing that, you are unable to fully focus on the other tasks at hand.Consequently, in your sleep the brain continues struggling to retain information.

By creating a system for your job or life, you will be able to get more productive in managing tasks, moving through your day efficiently and feeling more settled as each day ends.As a result, each morning will begin again fresh and each night will feel complete, without having to take unfinished business with you to bed.

3 – Make a declaration of the things from the day before that need to be get done.
4 – Make an inclusion of the approximate times of day that you will complete task.
5 – For the unexpected leave open blocks of time.
6 – There is a need to Schedule your workout or down time as well.

Closing Procedures: This part of your system will allow your mind to rest at night, without feeling the need to rehash your to-do list over and over again.

1 – Move incomplete tasks from today’s’ list, to tomorrow’s list.
2-prepare tomorrow’s list.
3 – Let us reorganize weekly tasks.
4 – Check emails, organizing into folders if necessary.
5 – Considering creating closure rituals, such as closing an office door or shutting down electronics.

List Making: Lists are helpful as they help you remember tasks that need to be done, but having an organized list, is even more effective. To the human brain a list that fills an entire page is overwhelming, and sticky notes often end up in random places.Yet an organization of the list by hour, day or week, in a Day-Timer, or organizer, will enable your brain to look at each task individually, rather than being overwhelmed with all the tasks at hand.

So drink less caffeine late in the afternoon, and treat your new system as a compulsory operating system that
