Chronic insomnia can also be divided into two types, primary insomnia which is not associated with other health problems and secondary insomnia which results from another medical condition. This type of insomnia includes poor conditions in your bedroom which may include a partner who snores, loud noises or many other things to prevent you from sleeping properly.
