I have been off of active duty for roughly 1.5years. Currently I have a disability claim for this condition, but while i was on active duty, i didn't have any treatment or diagnosis of symptoms (I was a young marine who had no clue that snoring could be serious). Anyway, since I didn't complain about any symptoms I was having on active duty, and the OSA diagnosis was just made 1.5yrs after discharge, what would my likelihood of receiving a service connection be? THE VA HAS ISSUED ME A CPAP SINCE THE DIAGNOSIS.

He's not snoring, because I've heard him do it a few times while sitting inactively, but definitely awake. He doesn't cough, and he doesn't wheeze when exercising a lot or anything, so I don't think it's feline asthma.

When he got him, he'd had his shots, worm treatment, he was fixed, and he got microchipped, so presumably if there was anything seriously wrong, the vet would've noticed.

In addition, this may or may not be related, but the kitty can't meow normally. Whenever he meows, he sounds like a rusty door creaking while being opened or something, my fiance calls it more of a croaking, it's really weird. Could this be related, or do some kitties just have really strange meows?

I really need my sleep, I don't go to bed til about 12am and during the day I just go go go. I don't want to ask my parents for sleep medication. Any suggestions?

She has said more recently about feeling tired after getting home from daycare. This has been going on for the last 3 or 4 months. She normally gets 10 hrs of sleep a night, and we keep her mostly on a strict sleep schedule. She seems like in a daze most of the time, attention span is waning, and even though it has always been a struggle, she doesnt have the safety concerns that most kids have. For example, she will try and run in a parking lot (mainly cause she is excited), but she has been told about being careful mutiple times. Even though my wife and I think that she would eventually be in gifted and talented, this recent behavior has caused some concern.

    What doctor (specialist) should be seen about this? Has anyone experienced this before? Improvement seen after treatment? Any changes in the home to be tried before seeing a doctor?

      Yes, I know Seroquel is awful & the side effects that come with it. That's why I want suggestions of other sleep medications.
